Difficult:
I don't think I fully understand what the phi function is used for. I also understand what primitive roots are but I didn't see a good way to find the primitive. I could find it out by trying roots of n-1 but I don't know if that is always the best way or if there is some other way also.
Reflective:
I think it's amazing that even though Euler and Fermat lived so long ago we are just now begin able to use the theorem's that they created. I do wonder if they had any idea what there ideas and discoveries would be used for.
